Anna Stikane

Head of Innovation Hub - Latvian Institute of Organic Synthesis, Latvia

Anna is organising innovation and knowledge transfer activities at the Latvian Institute for Organic Synthesis.

Anna holds a PhD in Molecular Biophysics and has over nine years of experience in research and research valorisation in the life sciences.

Her role involves facilitating international collaborations and translating advanced research into impactful innovations in areas such as drug discovery, biotechnology, biomedicine, biomaterials, and green chemistry. It takes a collective effort to bring new medicines to patients; therefore, she is always eager to connect, converse, and collaborate with others.

A science and microbiology enthusiast at heart, Anna is continuously curious about new discoveries and enjoys participating in community activities that involve young researchers and early-career professionals.
