Laura Spinardi

Laura is a graduate in Biology from the University of Turin and she received a PhD in Neuroscience at the New York University Medical Center, after which she moved as a postdoctoral fellow to the EMBL in Heidelberg and then in Monterotondo, Rome. After working successfully as a research scientist in the USA, France, and Germany, she joined the Policlinico of Milan in 2007. There she was instrumental in setting up the Technology Transfer Office and managing IPR protection, exploitation strategies, industry networking and spin-off creation.

She moved to the innovation sector bridging academic life science research to the biotech/pharmaceutical industry to help generate new products for medical patients and the community at large.

She is a recognised TT professional (RTTP), a member of AICIPI, and has served as a board member of Netval, Italy's national association.
