Dario has 15 years of experience in Technology Transfer and Intellectual Property.
Currently, Dario is the Head of IP Due Diligence at Imperial College London. Dario is responsible for a team that conducts Due Diligence reviews on the University Intellectual Property before it is commercialised, including resolution of encumbrances and obligations to funders. Prior to this role, Dario was an IP Due Diligence Executive at Imperial College London.
Earlier in his career, Dario worked several years for The Open University, as a Technology Transfer Officer, identifying, protecting, and commercialising technologies arising from the University research activities, especially in the fields of medical devices, diagnostic and scientific services.
He holds an MBA from The Open University (UK), a PhD in Cardiovascular Sciences from the University of Birmingham (UK), and a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Pavia (Italy).
