David Ai

Head of Innovation - London School of Economics, United Kingdom

David is Head of LSE Innovation. Previously, he was Chief Innovation Officer at the University of Hawaii, and Director of Knowledge Transfer at the City University of Hong Kong. He also worked at Stanford’s Office of Technology Licensing for six years. He chaired the International Strategy Committee at AUTM from 2017 to 2019. Earlier in the private sector, David was Chief Advisor at Hitachi Corporate VC and cofounded several startups. During the 1990s, he was Corporate VP at an NYSE company Varian Medical, also VP of Marketing at Cirque and a Project Manager at Hewlett-Packard.
