New online learning-by-doing course on Intellectual Property and license agreements
Paul Janssen Futurelab, a non-for-profit education & training initiative of Leiden University Medical Center in the Netherlands, has developed a new online training course specifically focusing on supporting innovation in the biomedical sector. On January 11, 2021, its novel online learning-by-doing course will be launched, offering a five-week interactive training for all those directly involved in the entrepreneurial biomedical space. Whether as a researcher, entrepreneur driving your own projects or supporting others engaged in developing biomedical innovations, this course offers an introduction to intellectual property management, including addressing the fascinating interplay between patent law and market exclusivity granted by regulatory agencies such as the FDA and EMA.
This course uses a highly effective approach to learning, including professionally designed animations, infographics, quizzes, assignments based on real-world R&D projects from industry and joined projects of universities and start-ups, and custom tools. In addition, the course includes in-depth interviews with experts such as patent examiners from the European Patent Office. You can watch an example animation here.
