Responsible for the strategic management and commercial development of all technologies and intellectual property (IP) arising from University of Barcelona.
This includes IP protection, business development, negotiation of license agreements and formation of spin-off around University of Barcelona technologies. She and her team are also responsible for generating, structuring, and negotiating research alliances and collaborations between faculty members and Industry (industry liaison).
Lurdes Jordi joined Fundació Bosch i Gimpera (FBG) in 2006.
Prior to joining FBG Lurdes Jordi served as Regulatory Affairs Manager at a pharmaceutical company during 9 years and spent 2 years as a researcher in a chemical company. She holds a PhD in organic chemistry from University of Barcelona and a master’s degree in business administration from Ramon Llull University.
