Margaret collaborates with researchers in the field of life sciences to help them maximise the impact of their research for the benefit of Ireland and the wider world.
She has over 20 years of experience in developing and commercialising technology, having held roles ranging from R&D Principal Investigator and Intellectual Property Officer in the diagnostics industry to Business Development Manager in the university sector in both the UK and Ireland. Margaret has extensive expertise in collaborative research, intellectual property management, and supporting life science university spin outs in securing intellectual property, finance, and investment.
She is RTTP accredited in knowledge transfer and holds a law degree from the University of Limerick, a PhD in Biochemistry from University College Dublin, and a BSc in Biochemistry from University College Cork.
