Dr Mark Mann is an experienced knowledge transfer professional whose experience spans the breadth and depth of research across the academic disciplines. In technology transfer he worked at the BBC, then the University of Oxford, spinning out companies and licensing software in the physical sciences. At Oxford, he then pioneered and led social sciences and humanities commercialisation, before expanding his portfolio to social enterprise and non-profit creation across all disciplines. He left Oxford in January 2022 where he set up his own strategic innovation consultancy, where he undertakes work for institutions wishing to expand their knowledge transfer offering into new areas and to plan for and measure their impact whilst doing so.
