Michael is a seasoned professional with expertise in knowledge transfer, business development, and drug discovery.

He currently serves as the Head of Technology Management (Berlin) and Spin-off Development at Ascenion GmbH, where he focuses on advancing life science technologies from academia to application.

Before joining Ascenion, Michael spent over eight years as a Senior Scientist in Medicinal Chemistry at AstraZeneca, and he has also worked in business development at Aristo Pharma. Michael holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry from Philipps University Marburg.
