Nedeljko Milosavljević

Director of Centre for Technology Transfer - University of Belgrade, Serbia

Nedeljko Milosavljević is a seasoned entrepreneur, investor, and innovation leader with a deep-rooted passion for transforming groundbreaking ideas into market-ready solutions.

With over 12 years of experience leading the Centre for Knowledge Transfer at the University of Belgrade, he played a pivotal role in developing effective knowledge transfer ecosystems in the Western Balkans. His leadership laid the foundation for bridging the gap between academia and industry, fostering collaboration across 31 faculties and 11 institutes.

He is also an active business angel, investing in early-stage startups and providing strategic guidance to founders. As a co-founder of Dr. Knight Ltd, a company commercialising sustainable materials derived from his PhD research, he has demonstrated his ability to translate research into impactful businesses. Beyond Dr. Knight, he has co-founded other ventures and actively contributes to startup ecosystems across Europe and beyond.

Currently, he serves as the Co-Director of Founder Institute Serbia and Labena Ventures, two prestigious accelerator programmes that empower early-stage entrepreneurs to scale their ventures. In these roles, he has mentored hundreds of founders, helping them refine their business strategies, attract investment, and navigate the complexities of building sustainable businesses.

His extensive involvement in global entrepreneurial networks includes past leadership positions such as Vice President of ASTP, International Committee Member of AUTM, and International Partner of the World Business Angels Investment Forum. He is currently the co-founder of the Centre for Entrepreneurship, Education, and Innovation – EPICenter – and an International Committee Member of ITTN in China.

His contributions extend to his role as a senior consultant and business developer for Oxentia, a global consultancy specialising in innovation and commercialisation. He is a recognised expert for the European Commission and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), where he advises on intellectual property, innovation ecosystems, and funding mechanisms for startups.

Through his entrepreneurial mindset, investment activity, and dedication to fostering innovation, Nedeljko Milosavljević continues to shape the future of technology commercialisation and startup ecosystems. His mission is to inspire and support the next generation of entrepreneurs, driving impactful innovations and creating value across industries.
