An engineer from the Institut Mines-Télécom and Doctor of Science from Grenoble Alpes University, Philippe Nerin is a specialist in knowledge transfer, innovation, and economic development both in France and internationally.
Philippe has primarily held roles in Innovation Management within large organisations, such as the CEA and Alcatel Space, as well as several SMEs, notably Fogale Nanotech, where he served as a leader and shareholder from 1997 to 2002.
The author of over 50 publications and patents, Philippe Nerin was awarded the Shinkinchi Horiba Prize in Kyoto in January 2012 for his innovative work in cell diagnostics, conducted in France and Japan from 2002 to 2012. As the co-founder of two companies, Millidrop and I-Spheres, he has extensive experience in founding and developing deep tech companies.
Since 2012, he has served as President of AxLR, Occitanie Méditerranée, a SATT (Technology Transfer Acceleration Company) that has supported more than 130 startups and completed over 100 knowledge transfers from public research laboratories.
Philippe Nerin also served as President of the SATT Network for two years (from July 2018), sharing his expertise in knowledge transfer, innovation, and economic intelligence with other SATTs and public authorities.
