Robert Schimpf

Co-Founder und Direktor - InnCubator, Austria

Robert Schimpf is the head of the InnCubator, the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center of the University of Innsbruck and the Tyrolean Economic Chamber. The InnCubator supports early-stage startups on their journey from idea to prototype and market entry through a six-month incubation program. In addition, it offers specialized services in ideation and creativity to foster innovation within SMEs. As part of the regional startup network Startup.Tirol, the InnCubator plays a key role in strengthening the local innovation ecosystem.

Robert also serves as the Associate Dean of Studies for the supplementary program in Entrepreneurship at the University of Innsbruck. As a member of the university’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship research team, his work focuses on innovation ecosystems, crowdsourcing, and online ideation. In addition, Robert teaches Entrepreneurial Basics at MCI (Management Center Innsbruck) and FH Kufstein.
