Roberto Marelli is the Development Director of Kilometro Rosso, one of the most important innovation districts in Europe, with more than 70 Resident Partners, 2,000 researchers and 100,000 sqm of facilities.
After graduating at Bocconi University in Milan and attending the University of Michigan MBA, he was part of the faculty of Bocconi University and its School of Management, lecturing on Marketing and Media and New Media. He then joined the global headquarter of the Alcatel Telecom Group in Paris, where he coordinated the Corporate Training Center for about three years.
Back in Italy, enhancing his marketing skills and his passion for technology and innovation, he held positions of responsibility at Telecom Italia research centre and strategy consulting organizations such as Roland Berger and Arthur D. Little, where he led the development of the Telecom, Internet, Media and Electronics practices; subsequently, he joined Seat Pagine Gialle as Corporate Development Director for the New Media area.
Marketing, project management and tech transfer competencies have also been declined at the helm of real estate development projects and real estate investment funds for leading Italian and foreign asset management companies.
