Silvia Goddijn

Business Developer Social Sciences and Humanities domain University of Amsterdam - IXA Innovation Exchange Amsterdam, Netherlands

Silvia Goddijn, MSc, has a background in Business Science and Change Management. She worked as a researcher at the Agricultural Economics Research Institute (WAG-UR) and as a consultant at Syntens, the former innovation accelerator for Dutch SMEs.

Silvia founded her own company, developing innovative services in the fields of education and travel. At IXA UvA, the Knowledge Transfer Office of the University of Amsterdam, she works as a Business Developer in the Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH) domain, where one of her main responsibilities is the creation of spin-offs. Silvia supports researchers in their journey toward establishing (social) ventures with societal impact. She is also involved in aligning the valorisation ecosystem specifically for the SSH domain at UvA, as well as on a national level, collaborating with SSH Business Developers from other Dutch universities.
