Building an ecosystem - knowledge transfer insights for all

Universities and research institutions do not create innovation ecosystems; they enter and participate in them. As with any form of market entry, a fundamental question arises: what do the “customers” within these ecosystems need, and what can your institution offer in response? This session will explore how to assess and align your institution’s value proposition—considering performance, cost, usability, and accessibility of services, features, and capabilities—to support ecosystem success.

Drawing on Phyllis Leah Speser’s extensive experience in developing regional innovation ecosystems across the United States, Cyprus, and Thailand, as well as a recent evaluation of Singapore’s ecosystem funded by WIPO, this webinar will provide practical insights into how institutions can position themselves as dynamic and indispensable nodes within thriving innovation networks.

This webinar is organised by the BioMedical SIG. Join the BioMedical SIG to stay tuned.
