The Spin-off SIG provides a platform for in-depth discussions on supporting and nurturing spin-offs emerging from universities and research centres. The group explores and shares successful support models from across Europe, offering role models and inspiration to strengthen entrepreneurial efforts within members’ institutions.

This SIG is ideal for professionals from Entrepreneurship Centres, Knowledge Transfer Offices, and organisations active in the academic entrepreneurial ecosystem. It also welcomes ASTP members with a strong interest in the practical aspects of creating and supporting spin-offs, including intellectual property rights transfer, compensation models such as royalties, equity, and phantom shares, and start-up support systems.
