In this session, Patrick Krenz from the University of Duisburg-Essen and Frida Koslowski, our SIG lead and member of the SHAPE Impact Kollektiv, will present the new Catalyst GER programme.

Catalyst GER is a pilot project in partnership with 8 leading German universities that supports social science, humanities and arts researchers with generating more societal impact from their research. The Catalyst’s multi-stage training programme for researchers at all experience levels builds on the UK’s SHAPE Catalyst/ARC Accelerator approach and is delivered by the SHAPE Impact Kollektiv.

Together, the project partners – the Technical University of Munich, the University of Stuttgart, Heidelberg University, Ruhr University Bochum, Kiel University, the University of Cologne, the University of Duisburg-Essen, the Technical University of Dortmund and the SHAPE Impact Kollektiv – are trying to create a new SHAPE ecosystem and build shared infrastructure to support researchers on their impact and knowledge transfer journey.
