Turning research and innovation into thriving businesses is a shared challenge for regions across Europe. Within the VIADUCT project, partners are exploring how public research can be better transferred into the market through spin-offs, start-ups and stronger local ecosystems.

In this webinar, Cristina Ruiz Garcia from the University of Zaragoza (Spain) and Silvia Gastaldo from the Municipality of Pieve di Soligo (Italy) will present the policy changes they have developed to strengthen entrepreneurship and technology transfer in their regions. Participants will hear practical examples of how local and regional authorities and universities can collaborate, improve support instruments and create conditions for new businesses to grow.
