ATTP (the Alliance of Technology Transfer Professional), this week reached a fantastic milestone of 500 Registered Technology Transfer Professionals (RTTP) from 39 countries.
ATTP was formed in March 2010 to:
Maintain internationally recognised standards for the knowledge and technology transfer professional.
Award the RTTP designation to knowledge and technology professionals who demonstrate core competency and achievement in the field.
Support national associations of KE/KT professionals to raise the caliber of their members through recognised programmes of professional development.
Encourage training providers to deliver programs that comply with internationally recognised standards.
As one of the founding members of ATTP, ASTP is delighted by the progress made over the last 9 years and congratulates the 500 RTTP for their dedication to their profession and for seeking this high standard of professional recognition.
Commenting on this landmark, Laura MacDonald, ASTP’s Chief Executive said: “ASTP congratulates ATTP on this milestone, as an alliance of technology transfer professionals we have worked together to deliver professional recognition for the profession and create an international goal for individuals working in knowledge and technology transfer offices across the world”
All of ASTP’s training courses and international meetings are ATTP recognised. Everyone attending one of our events can gain the necessary CE points to become RTTP.
The next date for submission is July 18th, 2019.
