Janina Pescinski, Training and Development Manager for the British Academy, will present lessons learned and first outcomes from the Elevate Programme, a three-year programme that helps Early Career Researchers from SHAPE disciplines develop leadership skills and build resilience in a competitive job market through focused professional development.
Launched amidst sector crises and budget constraints, the programme provides external development opportunities and helps researchers explore new opportunities in academic and non-academic environments and pilot projects with external partners to drive real-world change – in an inclusive and supportive environment open to researchers from diverse backgrounds, disciplines, career paths, and perspectives.
ASTP corroborates the strong need for profound insights and exchanges on practices, instruments and competencies that cut across functional, organisational, institutional, sectorial and geographic boundaries.
