SHAPE Austria extends Austria’s national spin-off framework to the Social Sciences, Humanities and the Arts, addressing the specific characteristics of research-based ventures beyond traditional knowledge transfer. The report provides practical recommendations for universities and research organisations on topics including soft IP, impact-driven entrepreneurship, support programmes, governance and funding. It draws on international good practices, interviews and a broad Austrian stakeholder process.
