Reflecting on AC26: conversations, collaboration…
Our Annual Conference 2026 brought together 345 knowledge transfer professionals from 42 countries for three days…
Whether you are a research organisation, university or a private company, a representation of civil society, a public administration, a region or a city - take part in a Europe-wide exchange! Share your experiences on the EU Knowledge Valorisation Platform!
The European Commission/DG Research and Innovation has just launched a call for submitting excellent examples of strategies, initiatives and tools that boost valorisation of research-based knowledge and data at European, national, regional, local and organisational level.
The call will be open without fixed deadline.
For best practices submitted by 10 December 2021, respondents can signal their interest to present them at the next EU Knowledge Valorisation Week (planned for 28 March to 1 April 2022).
The call gives stakeholders the opportunity to get more visibility by publishing their best practices in the repository of the EU Knowledge Valorisation Platform. Moreover, it is a means to establish new contacts across geographical and sectoral boundaries, to stimulate collaboration and to foster peer learning.
It is in the hands of stakeholders to contribute a strategy, measure or instrument that they believe has led to good results in terms of knowledge valorisation and could therefore be inspiring and of interest to actors with a similar profile. Exchanging and examining best practices is a powerful way to support the design, implementation and evaluation of policies, investments and measures that enhance the quality and extent of knowledge uptake at all levels.
Translating R&I results into the economy and society is one of the key objectives of the new European Research Area (ERA) that is supported by this initiative. Moreover, it will inform the development of EU Guiding Principles for Knowledge Valorisation, one of the ERA priority actions, and their implementation.
For detailed information, conditions and access to the call go to the EU Knowledge Valorisation Platform.
