Licensing research outputs today requires more flexible, inclusive approaches than traditional patent-focused models allow. The IMPAC3T-IP Toolbox has been developed to meet that need, combining document-based resources (such as templates, checklists, and model clauses) with digital tools, including AI-driven assistants, licensing aggregation platforms, and a tool finder engine that helps users navigate complex decision points.

This approach, combining structured documentation with adaptive digital tools, ensures that Knowledge Transfer Offices, Public Research Organisations, SMEs, policy actors and other stakeholders can streamline licensing processes, reduce negotiation friction and increase real-world uptake of research outputs across sectors.

The materials produced in the framework of this project are intended for direct use by the community (please note no automatic CE accreditation is included). ASTP may further adapt these materials when designing future formal training offers in this field.
