On Wednesday, 22 May, the Digital Innovation Special Interest Group (DI SIG) held an interactive workshop as part of the ASTP Annual Conference in Seville, Spain. The workshop, led by DI SIG coordinators Malcolm, Sigmar, Annemieke, Christoph, and Florian, saw an impressive attendance of over 100 participants, setting a new record for the event.
The attendees were divided into nine groups to discuss trending topics in digital innovation, based on survey results conducted in April, such as knowledge and data management, AI licensing, open source, and digital business models. This format allowed for dynamic and in-depth discussions, fostering a collaborative environment where participants could share insights and ideas.
The workshop was incredibly engaging, thanks to the active participation and valuable contributions from everyone involved. The DI SIG coordinators are currently compiling and comparing notes from the session and will soon share the main takeaways and identified topics. These will be discussed in more detail during one of the upcoming World Lunch webinar series, a bi-monthly 45-minute webinar featuring guest speakers.
Register for the next World Lunch on 19 June. Due to the summer period, the following World Lunch will be on 25 September. Invitations will be sent out soon to all DI SIG members. If you are not yet a member but are interested in joining, you can learn more here or contact Arlyta at arlyta.wibowo-kruzinga@astp4kt.eu
We extend our heartfelt thanks to all participants for making this workshop a memorable and impactful event. Stay tuned for further updates and upcoming events!
