ASTP's EU Committee reflects on the relevance of the European Strategy on Research and Technology Infrastructures.
Shiva Loccisano is Head of Technology Transfer, Politecnico di Torino, board member for Netval (the Italian National Association of KT professionals) and Netval’s representative on ASTP’s National Association Advisory Council (NAAC).
When recently interviewed for the NAAC Newsletter about his commitment to ASTP and the NAAC, Shiva said, “I joined ASTP activities many years ago and immediately felt how important it was to interact, exchange knowledge and also benchmark with international peers.”
An ASTP member since 2012, and Netval’s rep on the NAAC Board for the last three years, Shiva described the value of working with ASTP, “As a Board Member in Netval, I pushed a lot to strengthen our institutional relationship with ASTP, in order to enlarge the number of Italian TT professionals enjoying international collaboration and network.”
And on the value of contributing to the NAAC, “Within ASTP the NAAC allows us, as representatives of the National Associations, to stay involved, in contact and bring together the voices of different national and regional networks to contribute to the development of TT at the European level.”
