In 2022 the European Inventor Award took viewers on a journey through the world of inventing, casting a spotlight on the ideas and the individuals shaping a brighter future. The finalists included a professional musician whose new career hits all the right notes, clinicians combating cancer, the robotics expert whose patients are taking a critical step towards healthier lives, young inventors helping us achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals, and a Lifetime achievement laureate whose work may have saved millions of lives. You can re-live the moment, enter the world of inventing once more and watch the recording on inventoraward.org.
While the Award recognise technological breakthroughs, it also casts a spotlight on the individuals who are driving brighter future. It showcases inspiring ideas and underlines the role that inventors play in building a smarter, more sustainable world. You can also play a role in one of Europe's most prestigious innovation prize by nominating your favourite inventor.
To submit a proposal, complete the form here on or before Monday, 3 October.
