Alwin Wong
Chair
Alwin Wong is the Chair of the Alliance of Technology Transfer Professionals (ATTP¹) and the East Asia Subcommittee Chair of the AUTM² International Strategy Committee. He is a strong advocate for the advancement of knowledge transfer policy, university–industry collaboration, and professional capacity building within the global knowledge transfer community.
Until his retirement in 2020, Alwin served as Director of Knowledge Transfer and Entrepreneurship at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He also served for many years as Secretary-General of the International Strategic Technology Alliance (ISTA³), where he played a key role in promoting effective knowledge transfer management, strengthening university–industry collaboration, and supporting the commercialisation of research and innovation among its members.
