Ana Daniel

Ana Daniel is Director of the Department of Economics, Industrial Engineering, Management and Tourism (DEGEIT) at the University of Aveiro, where she teaches entrepreneurship and innovation. Her academic and professional interests focus on entrepreneurship, innovation, knowledge valorisation and university–society engagement. Her current research examines how academic entrepreneurship and the valorisation of academic knowledge can be strengthened, with particular attention to the mechanisms, actors and institutional conditions that facilitate the translation of research into economic and societal value.
