Ananay Aguilar

As an International Innovation Consultant, Ananay has most recently been appointed to lead the design of a TenU-inspired collaboration programme among Singapore's leading research institutions, developing governance, delivery structures and priority workstreams aligned with its national research and innovation strategy.

Ananay is the former Director of TenU, an international collaboration of leading university technology transfer offices including those of Cambridge, KU Leuven, MIT, Oxford and Stanford. Key initiatives created under her leadership have included the USIT Guides, adopted by 70 UK universities and used as templates worldwide; the TenU Future Leaders Programme graduating 47 students across 5 countries, and the TenU Hosts event series on key policy issues connecting thousands of practitioners worldwide.

Prior to joining TenU, Ananay worked as an independent consultant in the areas of copyright, cultural policy and diversity & inclusion, having held post-doctoral positions at the University of Cambridge.

Ananay is affiliated with the University’s Centre for Intellectual Property and Information Law (CIPIL) and mentors at the Postdoc Academy.
