Andrew has until recently been the strategy and impact funding lead for Europe’s largest and most impactful agri-food innovation, entrepreneurship, investment and skills network (EIT Food). Prior to that role he led Knowledge Exchange and IP commercialisation functions in UK universities and was a board member at both ASTP and Praxis-AURIL (now Knowledge Exchange UK).

He is now working independently to bring that experience and expertise to build leadership, strategy and impact capabilities in businesses and public-private collaborations joining funders, investors and NGOs together in partnership with research institutes, corporates, universities and startups.

Andrew has advised UK government on public-private collaboration and knowledge exchange policy & strategies and held various non-executive board roles supporting new business, joint ventures and public impact initiatives. He is also an experienced business director and leader, building and coaching high-performing senior teams with a focus on achieving impact. Most recently Andrew advised and coached the executive team leading the successful bid to establish the first fully dedicated water and maritime, public-private impact innovation network funded by the EU (EIT Water).
