Cansu Tekin

Cansu Tekin, Ph.D., is an Innovation Manager at EATRIS, where she leads innovation strategies, promotes stakeholder collaboration, and supports translational research initiatives across Europe.

She has extensive experience in product management, technology scouting, and strategic partnerships. In previous roles with industry partners, she developed global launch strategies for medical devices, managed biotechnology scouting and funding efforts, and supervised collaborative projects in biomanufacturing. Cansu has also led international biotechnology education and entrepreneurship initiatives, serving as a project leader, mentor, and judge for iGEM.

She holds a Ph.D. in Experimental & Molecular Oncology, an M.Sc. in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Amsterdam, and a B.Sc. in Molecular Biology & Genetics from Bilkent University. Her expertise includes innovation strategy, grant writing, product management, and stakeholder engagement, with a strong track record of translating scientific innovations into real-world impact.
