Dewi Van De Vyver

Dewi Van De Vyver is a Belgian tech entrepreneur, board member, and keynote speaker with more than 20 years of experience at the intersection of technology, strategy, and societal impact. She is currently CEO and Co-Founder of Effex, a SaaS company specializing in Design of Experiments for industrial applications across pharma, chemicals, semiconductors, food, and automotive.

Throughout her career, Dewi has built and scaled technology companies, led fundraising rounds, and negotiated strategic partnerships and acquisitions. Before founding Effex, she was CEO and Co-Founder of Flow Pilots, a digital agency delivering web and mobile solutions for major organizations including AXA, Soudal, and the Flemish Government. Under her leadership, Flow Pilots evolved from a start-up into a recognized digital partner.

Dewi combines operational leadership with strong governance expertise. She serves as Non-Executive Director at Ethias, Proviron Industries, SECO Group, and Thomas More University of Applied Sciences, where she contributes to strategy, oversight, and long-term value creation. Her executive education includes Sustainability Leadership at London Business School and the Executive Development Program at Vlerick Business School.

Beyond entrepreneurship and governance, Dewi is a recognised advocate for ethics in technology, diversity in STEM, and responsible digital transformation. She founded The Ada Talks, a network for women in tech, and is a member of the STEM Platform, advising the Flemish Government on technology education and innovation policy.

Her contributions to the technology ecosystem have been widely acknowledged. She was named ICT Woman of the Year by DataNews (2020), Inspiring Fifty Belgium and Europe (2021–2022), recipient of the Veuve Clicquot Bold Woman Award (2022), and Elle Woman of the Year in Tech (2024).
