Kit Barlett

Kit Bartlett is a Research Commercialisation Manager at the University of Bristol, with more than three years' experience in knowledge exchange and technology transfer. They previously worked as Associate Licensing and Ventures Manager at Oxford University Innovation, and across these roles they've worked on a broad portfolio of health and life sciences technologies, with a particular focus on impact licensing, social ventures and inclusive innovation.

Kit leads the University of Bristol's Research Commercialisation EDI sub-group and has contributed to a range of EDI initiatives throughout their career, both within and outside knowledge exchange, including co-developing an inclusive innovation training and funding programme. They are particularly interested in identifying and addressing hidden barriers and unintentional exclusion arising from established knowledge exchange practices.
