Matt Wichrowski

Matt Wichrowski is a Partner at Fly Ventures, a first-cheque VC built for technical founders across Europe. He focuses on catalysing technical talent at day zero across all forms of computational deep tech start-ups. Areas of particular focus include Applied AI, Robotics and Automation, AI Systems and Infrastructure, and TechBio/Materials Science.

Prior to joining Fly, Matt led the company-building programme at Entrepreneur First, Europe’s leading deep tech accelerator.

Matt has worked in the UK and EU start-up ecosystem since 2015 and has seen first-hand how European founders are held back by the scale and ambition of local capital. This is why he now splits his time between London and the West Coast.
