Michael Karle

Michael is a seasoned professional with expertise in knowledge and technology transfer, business development, and drug discovery. He is currently Head of Technology Management (Berlin) and Spin-off Development at Ascenion GmbH, where his work is focused on advancing life science technologies from academia to application. Michael has extensive experience in supporting Ascenion's clients in their spin-off activities and in the transfer of IP to spin-offs. Prior to his role at Ascenion, Michael spent over eight years as a Senior Scientist in Medicinal Chemistry at AstraZeneca and worked in business development at Aristo Pharma as well. Michael holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry from Philipps-University Marburg.
