Mohsin Siraj

M. Mohsin Siraj is a European Patent Attorney and currently works as Manager Technology Portfolio at Khalifa University Enterprises Company in the United Arab Emirates. His work brings together intellectual property, technology transfer, and research translation.

He has more than a decade of experience across academia and industry. Before joining Khalifa University Enterprises Company, he worked at Philips Lighting, now known as Signify, in the Netherlands, where he worked closely with technology and business teams across the full IP lifecycle, from disclosure assessment and patent drafting through prosecution, portfolio management, and licensing-related activities.

His experience covers patent and non-patent protection routes, including software-related inventions, trade secrets, and copyright, as well as technology transfer and research commercialization. He holds a PhD in Control Systems (Electrical Engineering) and is the author of The Patent Journey, a story-driven book on patents and IP for researchers, inventors, and early-stage innovators
