Oleksandr Litvinov
Vice-Rector
Oleksandr Litvinov was born in 1976. He graduated from Odesa State Economic University in 1999 with a degree in Enterprise Economics. From 1999 to 2002, he completed postgraduate studies at Odesa National Economic University. Since 2002, he has worked at the Department of Enterprise Economics and Business Organization as a lecturer and associate professor. From 2007 to 2017, he served as Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Enterprise Management. In 2019, he defended his doctoral dissertation on “Management of the Development of Enterprise Intellectual Capital”.
Since 2021, Oleksandr Litvinov has served as Vice-Rector for Research at Odesa National Economic University and is also responsible for the university’s internationalisation activities. He is the co-founder and one of the organisers of the Startup University Youth Entrepreneurship Centre, as well as one of the initiators and Project Leader of InnoHub — a digital platform that supports the commercialisation of university innovations, connects researchers, businesses and investors, and uses AI-based tools to help prepare research projects for market validation, pitching and cooperation with external partners.
In 2026, Oleksandr Litvinov also became involved in the development of the Ukrainian Technology Transfer Alliance (UTTA), which brings together Ukrainian universities, research institutions, innovation organisations and business representatives. He is the author of more than 100 scientific publications, including two single-author monographs. His research interests include intellectual capital, the efficiency of entrepreneurial activity, the reproduction of intangible resources and assets, and innovation-based entrepreneurship development
