Pedro Pedrosa

Pedro Pedrosa, PhD, is Head of Innovation at ITQB NOVA – the Institute of Chemical and Biological Technology António Xavier, part of NOVA University of Lisbon. He holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Biology and a PhD in Biotechnology from NOVA University of Lisbon.

Pedro has worked across academia, innovation management and entrepreneurship, including in the life sciences start-up Nano4Global, where he led R&D activities. He also served as President of WACT – We Are Changing Together, an international NGO focused on social entrepreneurship. In his current role, he supports the translation of academic research into innovation and societal impact.
