PJ De Queker

PJ De Queker is Innovation Manager at Hasselt University’s Faculty of Business Economics in Belgium, where he supports researchers in turning promising ideas into valorised projects and spin-offs. Since joining Hasselt University in 2025, he has been closely involved in the Nascent journey, helping guide the project through the university’s Industrial Development Funding & tech transfer process from academic insight to company formation.

Before UHasselt, PJ built an international career in marketing and consumer insights leadership at Bose, where he worked with global teams, large budgets and data-driven strategy. He now applies that experience to knowledge transfer, with a strong interest in helping universities unlock the commercial and societal potential of research - including in fields that are often less associated with spin-off creation, such as the social sciences.
