Frida Koslowski
Co-Founder and Director
Frida is Co-Founder and Director of Kindling Ventures, a company that works with research organisations and knowledge transfer teams to transform research into sustainable and scalable impact through valorisation.
She is also Deputy Director of the ARC Accelerator, the world’s first accelerator for social sciences, humanities and arts research commercialisation that helps researchers build innovative and sustainable social ventures that deliver impact at scale. Frida leads the delivery of the £3.9m ESRC/AHRC SHAPE Catalyst, a UK-wide multi-stage valorisation programme designed to equip 1200+ SSHA-researchers from 100+ universities with the skills they need to bring their ideas to market.
Frida is a member of the SHAPE Impact Kollektiv, a group of international impact and commercialisation experts focused on developing the innovation potential of social sciences, humanities and arts for people and the economy (SHAPE) research. As part of this role, she is currently delivering Catalyst GER, a pioneering programme in partnership with 8 leading German universities that helps social science, humanities and arts researchers to sustain and scale the societal impact of their research and supports them on their knowledge transfer journey.
Prior to this, Frida worked in business development for two EdTech start-ups with a social impact focus, including Kiron Open Higher Education, a social venture that helps refugees continue their education. She holds an MSc in Evidence-Based Social Intervention and Policy Evaluation from the University of Oxford, where her research focused on the regulation of AI in healthcare.
