We are looking for a Bachelor’s or Master’s student in Marketing, Media, Communications, Journalism or a related field who is available full-time for 3 to 6 months. You should have excellent written and spoken English, a strong interest in digital communication and social media, and be comfortable working with website content management systems. Experience with or willingness to learn Mailchimp, Canva and basic analytics tools is expected. You should be proactive, organised and able to work independently, with strong attention to detail.
Your internship
You will work under the supervision of the Communications Officer. Your main tasks will include updating the ASTP website, including event descriptions and speaker profiles; creating and scheduling social media content to promote ASTP events; supporting the preparation and distribution of newsletters using Mailchimp; monitoring and reporting on social media and campaign performance; and creating basic visuals and graphics using Canva for social media and newsletters. You will contribute to the overall communication and promotion of ASTP’s events and activities.
