ASTP has published its latest Executive Data Report, presenting the results of the 2025 Annual Survey covering knowledge transfer activities during Financial Year 2023 (FY2023).
The report brings together data from 489 Knowledge Transfer Offices (KTOs) across 19 European countries, offering an overview of how universities and public research organisations work with industry, manage intellectual property (IP), commercialise research and support new businesses.

The ASTP Annual Survey is coordinated by the ASTP Metrics & Impact Committee, with contributions from KTOs and National Associations across Europe.
This year's report combines responses collected directly by ASTP with data from national surveys in Denmark, France, Ireland, Italy, Spain, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
We would like to thank all participating KTOs and National Associations for sharing their data as well as for promoting and distributing the survey within their networks.
The ASTP Executive Data Report – FY2023 is now available. Download here.
The ASTP Annual Survey relies on contributions from the KT community. The more organisations participate, the better we can understand knowledge transfer activities across Europe.
