Why the ASTP Impact Awards?

The world of KT moves fast, and we often forget to pause and acknowledge the incredible work being done across the community. The ASTP Impact Awards aim to honour the individuals, teams, and projects that have made a lasting impact, while fostering a culture of storytelling and knowledge sharing.

Award Categories

• Impact of the Year – Recognising a knowledge transfer initiative or achievement from a publicly funded European research organisation that has demonstrated exceptional impact on society.
• KT Deal of the Year – Celebrating a successful licensing deal or spin-out company creation from a publicly funded European research organisation that has led to significant KT success.

Who Can Apply?

• Open to individuals and organisations based in Europe.
• The innovation, activity, or project must have delivered benefits to the KT community for at least 12 months. The impact should have ocurred within the past year.
• Nominations must be submitted by ASTP members.
• Self-nominations are allowed.

How to Participate

1. Stage 1: Submit a nomination via the official ASTP Impact Awards application form by 28 March.
2. Stage 2: Shortlisting – A list of shortlisted candidates will be selected by the Board and notified. They will be required to submit a three-minute video outlining their project, initiative, or deal.
3. Stage 3: Voting – ASTP members will vote online to determine the winners in each category.
