This IAM4RE Deep Dive explores how Intellectual Assets Management (IAM), exploitation planning, and standardisation can be integrated into research projects. Through practical examples and discussion, participants will examine approaches to embedding these elements from proposal design to impact delivery.

From Project Management to Impact

This IAM4RE Deep Dive session takes place on 25 June 2026 from 10:00–11:30 CEST and builds on Module 10: Project & Innovation Management.

The workshop focuses on how Intellectual Assets Management (IAM), exploitation, and standardisation can be embedded within research and innovation projects, from proposal development through to impact delivery.

Topics for Discussion

Participants will explore:

  • IAM within project design and project logic
  • Key Exploitable Results (KERs), ownership, and exploitation pathways
  • The relationship between Technology Readiness Levels (TRLs) and impact
  • Project exploitation strategies and uptake planning
  • The role of standardisation in supporting interoperability and uptake
  • Practical experiences from research and innovation projects

The session will also examine how IAM, exploitation planning, and standardisation can be integrated into Work Packages and innovation strategies from the earliest stages of project development.
