4iP Council | Resisting the Transplant?

This webinar examines how intellectual property enforcement differs between the European Union and the United States in the wake of the EU IPR Enforcement Directive (IPRED) and the U.S. eBay decision.

4iP Council invites you to join their free webinar on 22 January 2026, from 16:00 to 17:00 CET.

In this session, Prof. Francesca Ferrari (University dell’Insubria) will present her research paper “IP Enforcement: An EU–US Comparative Analysis After IPRED and eBay”, examining how intellectual property enforcement frameworks differ between the European Union and the United States — with particular focus on the impact of the EU’s IPR Enforcement Directive (IPRED) and the U.S. eBay decision on injunctions.

The presentation will be followed by a discussion and Q&A featuring Francesca Ferrari, Léon Dijkman (University of Amsterdam), and Kristen Osenga (University of Richmond School of Law), offering further insight into the themes raised.

For professionals, researchers and policymakers interested in comparative IP law and enforcement strategies on both sides of the Atlantic, this webinar provides a timely opportunity to engage with current scholarship and debate.
