Become a Member of the Digital Events Committee

Are you passionate about knowledge transfer, digital events, and connecting research to society? The Digital Events Committee is looking for new voices — especially from social sciences, humanities and arts — to join our team of volunteers.

What the Committee does

The Digital Events Committee develops the programme content for ASTP online events, in particular the webinar series Tea with ASTP. By joining, you will help design topics, identify speakers, and shape the flow of interactive sessions that bring together KT professionals across Europe.

Who we’re looking for

We’re particularly keen to engage members who:

• Work or have experience in social sciences, humanities, arts, or policy-related knowledge transfer.

• Can contribute ideas for digital engagement and innovative event formats.

• Are willing to volunteer time, join planning calls, and help shape event topics.

• Enjoy collaborating in an international, professional environment.

Time commitment

The Digital Events Committee meets once every two weeks, with additional light tasks between meetings (e.g., suggesting topics, identifying speakers, or reviewing session outlines). The workload is designed to be manageable alongside regular professional responsibilities.

1. The Committee Chair and VP Events will review all submissions and will follow up with selected candidates to join the committee.
